I REALLY hope we don't have to update that meme for 2021.
I hope everybody is doing well and staying safe from all the chaos. I look forward to resuming our pedal exchange tour once everyone is able to.

So ... are all your kids going to school as well? Since yesterday most children don't have to wear face masks in the classroom anymore, except in those classes where teachers or students belong to the high-risk group. Some friends have to work short time now and have to be careful with their expenses.
How about you? I hope you are all doing great!

Here in France children and teachers must wear a mask all day long at school.

In Québec, students have to wear masks in public places in school, outside classes. My 6-year-old has a cold right now (clearly a cold. No fever, no aching, no cough, just a runny nose). The directive here is "keep'em home for 24h. If there is no fever within that period, you can send'em to daycare of school if they feel well enough".
We all have to wear a mask in any public place (grocery, shops, restaurants, etc.). Of course, you take it off when you eat, but it's a precaution I'd rather take than not.
Case have been on the rise a little bit since school started but nothing to be afraid of as we speak. Just gotta keep staying safe and be careful and it should all be fine.

Gasgano, what you describe is pretty much the same in Germany. You cannot enter a public building without a mask. In the library you have to fill out a document if you don't have your library card at hand. And if you want to visit an indoor pool you can only do it with a reservation in advance.

I really love jamming with these guys. Too bad that it's been a full year since our last monthly jam session.
I was behind the camera in this video of a harbour tour of the regular musicians in 2013. The song snippets were recorded by the same camera at open air jams in the same year. I play organ in the first one and bass guitar beginning at 0:36 and beginning at 2:58 (one of my favourite moments in our HFN Jam history).

Seems like jam sessions, concerts, etc. could be prohibited again soon. Within a few weeks the situation in whole Germany has become really, really awful. People are acting so carelessly, it's totally insane.
Well ... who could have imagined that it could change for the worse in autumn or winter?
