Can I use a power cable from my Boss ME-90 to run a Boss ME-20?

According to the Boss site both use PSA adapters so it should work.

It is a very good thing to ask first, because many pedals have been destroyed in the past due to improper power supplies. But in your case that should work. Both pedals need 9V DC power with overall the same specifications. The ME-90 has a current draw of 190mA, the ME-20 only 90mA. The recommended power supply for the ME-90 is the BOSS PSA S adaptor which offers 500mA; the standard PSA power adaptor has 200mA only.
If you have the original BOSS PSA S adaptor (i.e. PSA-230S in Europe, PSA-120S in America) for your ME-90, it definitely works with the ME-20 as well. The higher mA-value is not harmful at all - quite the opposite.
