New amp day

Picked this up yesterday at the local thrift store for USD$24. Absolutely unmarked, still with front label. Works perfectly.

This will be my new workshop amp.

Ah, nice! This is the very first Cube series, right? These were very innovative back then. I really liked the Cube-15. It's a perfect bedroom amp.

Looks like January 2004 from the serial. For a 20 year old amp, the condition is, almost literally, unbelievable.

WOW! $24 is the used price for a horrible Fender Frontman 10G.
Have always liked the Cube 15, it doesn't sound nearly as small and harsh as other amps in that 15W/1x8" configuration. The COSM dirts cover a LOT of ground!

Agree it is a quite servicable amp!

This one is early - no COSM, all done with diodes, so not the best distortion, but nevermind, I have few pedals laying around ;)
