First, I hope everyone is doing well and will continue to be healthy and safe.
Pepe - 5 weeks for kids is long time. Keep their minds active, maybe they can learn how to play your instruments.
As for my location; We had some of America's first cases in my local area. Unfortunatly my local hospitals have all had/have patients which
concerns those of us who are avoiding infection but may need medical help. My local hospital was contaminated by a sick healthcare worker, which complicates this situation.
Panic buying happened here MUCH sooner than the rest of the country. Once our Government began contemplating strict measures, a second wave of panic buying swept through. Major cities like San Francisco have already begun quarantine style controls. I expect to see those in other hot-spots, even here.
On the bright side I'm hopeful safety protocols soon being used will slow/stop this virus. America will modelling it's response to the method South Korea is using. South Korea has reduced the rate of infection and soon America will be implementing similiar tactics. Once a clear, effective, and humane method is proven, hopefully every country will do so.
If anyone has any helpful tips to share it would be appreciated.
Many of us will be facing some sort of quarantine so finding food after panic buying has happened can be difficult; check places people may not think of normally, such as buying food at gas stations, convenient stores, liquor stores.
Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Menards, ect (construction/ building supplies) sells random food, like cereal (I have no idea why) but it helps.
Foreign food markets tend to have different supply chains, check their markets for any additional food they may not use as often as your culture does.
Masks, I think most places in the world are low on stock. A scarf is better than nothing, hope it's winter where you live. If anybody can modify a Boss pedal into a mask/respirator let me know.
