1) It is not a complete clone but is based off something older..
2) 4 knobs
3) Larger Hammond type box
Great, a big pedal with 4 knobs. That should narrow it down

Well here are some first clues from the pedal my secret Santa Dirk sent me:

- It is MIJ.
- It is pinkish-purple.
- it has 4 knobs.

Hah! I stumbled over the Radio Havana just when I wanted to give up. What is it? An auto filter? Bandpass or lowpass? The latter would be perfect for bass. Looks cool!
It does look stunning for sure.
It's a distortion pedal really, that will break up more or less using the middle knob which is an analog bit crusher-ish thingy I guess.
The overall sound is very thin, hence the name Havana Radio, and it's one of the stranger pedals I came across.
The breakup fuzziness on higher settings remind me of that Gameboy pedal.
I guess it could be nice for synthy type sounds.

What a monster of a surprise I received.

First hint - it takes more than one battery.

I'll guess a BF-2

Electro Harmonix Memory Boy?

I'm going to wait to add my pedal clues, too many happening at once right now.

Not a BF-2. That's the answer I was expecting though haha! It has a weird battery casing.
