A pedal that I have a love/hate relationship with. I like the overall sound, but I hate that the EQ does also affect the clean tone. Maybe this one is waiting for a few modifications? :D

I don't want to give the name away, although it should be very clear who was the sender, so please tell us who your Secret Santa was. ;)
Many thanks to chromandre !! I'll do a bit of maintenance on the beast and see how it sounds in the bass rig.
Cool! Yes you are very welcome! I actually like this pedal a lot but my bass rig is as such: BOSS GT-6B with (analog)dry/wet XLR outs. It has no effect loop so the correct way to use it precludes any other pedals! :geek: thats fine the GT effects are awesome

I have been oddly busy in the past months, which is good but sorry I have not been checking in as much. I think my package has actually not arrived yet, I have never missed a package at my new residence, it may be in order to relay the shipping details to me, and I will keep you all posted!

Cheers!

The small knobs made me think that it could be an Ibanez Soundtank pedal. The Black Noise perhaps?
Haha, did I make it too easy?! It's indeed the Black Noise. I haven't really had a chance to try it out yet, for a.number of reasons, but I will report back with a little review!

So, many thanks, Dirk! :) The pedal made its way here very quickly and I'm sure I will find a use for it!

I'm really sorry.for the short disappearing act - I'm having a bit of a problematic time due to a family member falling very sick.

On top of all that, I'm pretty certain that the pedal I sent got lost in the mail. The tracking status I posted earlier hasn't changed in like 7 weeks now. A real pity, since not only the pedal I sent was a cool one, but I also left a note in the package related to the surprise I had when I learned where I would send something.

Now...what do we do in that situation?

Let's see if chromandre can sort something out with USPS once you sent him the shipping details. We haven't had that in the past that a parcel got lost. (Only in the one Cheap Express Pedal Tour, many years ago, natthu sent a second parcel to me, because the first one took many weeks to arrive.)

Hmm ... is it a BOSS ODB-3?
It cleaned up nicely.

Will try it out tomorrow.

You're very welcome mate. I never used it anyway. Not my vibe.
