Saw another DS1 coming down the pike...

Was at a shop where I picked up a Hello Kitty Fuzz. Got an inside peek at a couple pedals that are to be released later this month.
1. A pearl white DS1. Looks like the B50 pedals with the silver screw. No other special numbering.
2. A pearl white RAT2.
3. A 'glitz' Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box. It's fully covered in a bedazzled look, hundreds of small rhinestones. I'm tempted to get this, as I don't have that pedal and this looks amazing.
I took pics, but was told to not share just yet, to keep them out of trouble.

What colour was the writing on the white DS-1?
Any idea if it's a "one off" or whether Boss are planning any other white editions?
We've been a bit light on new compacts this year, just the SDE-3 IIRC.

Black writing on the DS-1 and the white is kind of pearly like a DD-3 looks pretty snazzy I just admit! but it has that mini SMD board that is not easy to mod unfortunately.

It's a good looking pedal, but yes, the small SMD board.

I saw it a few days ago at a German ebay shop. I don't get it. We have had a few colour variations in the last few years and I really don't have a clue why a white model has a right to exist. "Clean, modern styling". Yeah, sure. "Minimalistic reinterpretation", aka: boring. It reminds me of JHS pedals.
A see-through model had been cool. But only with a normal-sized circuit board. Really too bad that transparent aluminium has still not been invented yet.

Transparent aluminium would certainly be an interesting development
I guess it looks nice enough and might appeal to collectors or people assembling all white pedal boards. These limited edition DS-1 colour variants must sell well as Boss have done a few different black ones and now this.
I've already got a DS-1 (and a DS-1w) so it is probably not something I'm going to pick up. If I didn't already have a DS-1 then I might have opted for this over the standard orange.

From what i've heard it's just a paint job. Same BS circuitry
