Hello There Have Been Some Changes......

Hello Everyone,
It has been a long time since my last post, must have been sometime in 2022.....
Okay there have been a lot of changes, the biggest one: relocation to the Netherlands, mainly because of family reasons.
I am trying to get back what I had in the UK, and it is working, slowly but it is coming. Anyway, life is different here, I cannot believe how things are in the Netherlands, it feels at times like I am a foreigner in my own country.....
I have to give my thanks to Laurie for getting the DF-2 back in shape. Still use the pedal from time to time instead of the Rat. It is the sound of the DS1 which is a unique distortion to my ears, together with the TS. But let us not get into distortion/overdrive discussion, because so much depends on how you use them and how you play.
Have there been any new pedals you may wonder? No, I am playing with what I have, and still discover new things, applications I should say, I can do with the ones I have.
On my board are, since late 2020: The Rat, DD2, Double Drive and the DD7, Sometimes the RC 2. Nothing special really, the weird sounds come purely from playing and imagination.
What is new is a rehearsal space which is large. I can use my stage amps at higher volume and they sound fantastic in the room I am using.
The drums as well: Adjust the volume to the room. I have been playing drums for a while, but since 2021 been playing daily and that makes the change. Enjoy it more and also work a lot with tuning and what you can to make the drums sound like you want to. Just like with anything musical, your ears will adjust to any changes you make.
I create loops daily with Bass and Guitar, and play the drums to the loops. Try to keep the sound not too static. Great Sound!!
I am happy that for some reason the forum is again called BossAreaForum, since I had forgotten the name, maybe a bit silly, but then again, there have been lots of changes and the days are crazy, but I can manage and enjoy things as they are.
I have a new site, trying to go with the theme of the old one, which is still alive. It is now: https://gitaarlesmiddelburg.nl/
It is my intention to visit more often. I have noticed some people from the past have been around as well. All good to see that the forum is still here.
Alright, well all the best to all of you and hope you enjoy making music and using your pedals to the best of your ability.
Cheers,
Eddie
