I want a BF-2w or I'm taking my ball and going home. :stamps feet:

Yes, that's about time! And the BF-1 should be hidden inside as well.

I concur with both BF-2w and a compact Rotary Speaker pedal. I would like to retire my BF-2 before it dies, but if they do a Waza version, my hope is that it would faithfully reproduce the sound of my MIJ black knob version? I had the white knob MIT version and did not like it as much, so I sold it. Wish I had kept it though, because, if my MIJ dies, white knob is better than no knob! Compact rotary would be nice too. I have a Pigtronix Rototron, but it is too big for my board! For the time being, I will have to make due with my BF-2, CE-2, and PH-1r to cover all my swirly needs!

I would also like to see an OD-1w, or at least if Boss would release the OD-1 reissue from the anniversary traffic light set as a stand alone, that would be nice! They probably decided that an OD-1w would be somewhat redundant with the SD-1w, OD-1X, and OD-3 though. :(

I think you don't need to worry about that any time soon :?

I sure hope you are correct! I have not had a Boss pedal die on me yet and I do have several from the 80's (MIJ SD-1, MIT SD-1, MIJ DS-1, MIT DS-1, CE-2, PH-1r, BF-2, CS-2, DM-2, and possibly an OD-2 Turbo and DF-2 that I haven't yet run through the S/N decoder); however, the switch on my CE-2 is getting a bit dodgy.

These are my old instructions.

It is a great documentation how to do it and I also managed to do the cleaning without desoldering the switch.

Same! Never had one die on me, but I did have two that I bought (for bargain prices) in the last 8 years that needed fairly simple fixes to get up and running.
1. MIJ long chip DD3 had a switch that was dodgy, $40. Found Laurie's rehab procedure well after the fact, the old switch was already in the landfill and I had already replaced it with a proper switch found on ebay. Fantastic pedal!
I did rehab the switch on my DS2, as it was just a touch dodgy, but then worked perfectly.
2. BD2 that worked with battery, but not power supply. Got it for $15. Just needed a new power diode for the DC jack, as it was fried. Clearly someone tried to use an inappropriate power supply with it. I didn't care for the BD2 when they came out in the 90s, but found them to my liking in 2015. Once running as it should, this BD2 became my guinea pig for doing a partial Keeley phat mod. I only installed the switch and caps needed for the bass boost circuit. Didn't do any of the additional cap or resistor upgrades and such. Also installed a green LED while I was at it. Great pedal!
