Hello all,

I have a BOSS OD-20, but it's black. All others that I have seen are yellow. I took it apart to see if it had been painted, but, it hasn't. I posted on a BOSS pedals page and no one had any ideas about it. I cannot even find any images of a black one on line. Can someone please shed some light on this? I am very intrigued by this. Thank you in advance for any help.

Did you purchase it new or used? Maybe someone took the enclosure of a RC-20 or another black twin pedal to rehouse the OD-20? Is sounds strange though. If you can, please supply pictures (downscaled pictures work if you want to upload them here), as we always love to see odd BOSS pedals.

I too would love to see pictures of your black OD-20.

Possibly just a really good paint job, or as Pepe said a case swap with a GP-20 or the like. Though I'm not sure how you'd go lining up everything under the control plate, or why you'd bother.

Either way it's very intriguing!
