Compact pedal control layout
I built a set of Boss stomps, based on the 2 control type such as the SP-1, the 3 control like the DM-2 and the distinctive original 4 control of the BF-2. I know there are many different 4 control Boss pedals but I'm not making any of those for the moment.
What I need to know is, are there any missing from my list of 3 control types? So far, I have the following:
BD-2
CS-2
DM-2
DS-1 (Plus 40th anniversary variant)
FZ-3
OC-2
OD-3
PH_1r
SD-1
TR-2
I'm not interested in things that have different controls, such as the DM-3, just strictly those with the classic style control knobs such as the ones listed above. If I missed any, please let me know.
I think I have all bases covered with the 2 and 4 control versions.
For reference, I've attached an image of the pedals I made, including the GE-7, which AFAIK, has only that one and the bass versions.

Re: Compact pedal control layout
FZ-5 has the classic 3 control layout, although the small knob is a three way selector. Does that fit?
FRV-1 also has the classic 3 control layout

Thanks for the info. Yes, the FZ-5 counts, since the controls look the same as the others.

Ah yes. I'd totally forgotten about that one. Many thanks.

There's a nice visual timeline of all the Boss compacts (up to 2017) here: https://www.boss.info/uk/promos/40th_an ... ct_pedals/
Scroll down to the "Compact Pedal History" bit at the bottom of the page.

Seen that, and it's not bad but not complete AFAIK, so I can't trust it as a resource.
Re: Waza versions; I'm not interested in those. Maybe for a later build but I have to draw a line somewhere.
Thanks, anyhow.

What do you reckon it's missing?SamXTherapy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 4:41 pmSeen that, and it's not bad but not complete AFAIK, so I can't trust it as a resource.

Well, if it is complete, I happily stand corrected.
I was under the impression it was an overview, rather than a complete list.
