New BOSS pedals!
Re: New BOSS pedals!
Brilliant news ! I’m glad one more SP-1 is operational again. Many congratulations !
Re: New BOSS pedals!
One more first batch silver screw arrived today, now it's eleven out of thirteen. Missing: PH-1 6500 (not that difficult) and DS-1 7100 (almost impossible).

Serious collecting there!
I have two of the silver screws but alas one has little "wah". I'll have to check those batch numbers.
There are a few DS-1s that do crop up here in Japan though they tend to be pricier for mint silver screw etc of course.
Re: New BOSS pedals!
Japan is where I found most of my vintage models, this TW-1 came from there, rare variants and first batches are very difficult to be found outside Japan, and yes the prices are rising very fast, even there.fuzzbuzzfuzz wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 11:32 pm

Yes, my collection grew exponentially after moving out here, the sheer volume of consumers means still plenty about although the trend for collecting/and higher prices has become more apparent. I do browse incessantly, so if you have specific batch codes to hunt I can always keep a watchful eye out for you here.Old_Iron wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 11:50 pmJapan is where I found most of my vintage models, this TW-1 came from there, rare variants and first batches are very difficult to be found outside Japan, and yes the prices are rising very fast, even there.fuzzbuzzfuzz wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 11:32 pm

Thank you very much fuzzbuzzfuzz, I appreciate your offer, but please don't worry, I have a person in Japan that looks for the models and variants that are missing in my collection, and to be honest, I love the hunting, every day I search many e-markets over the net, and as they say: the chase is better than the catch.fuzzbuzzfuzz wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 5:50 amYes, my collection grew exponentially after moving out here, the sheer volume of consumers means still plenty about although the trend for collecting/and higher prices has become more apparent. The last rare SD-1 variant just arrived, a JRC4558DX.
I was looking for a SD-1 "DX" for years, this unit is only the 3rd I ever saw, the 1st was too beaten up and the batch number was missing, so I let it pass, the second was almost mint, with box and papers, the seller was asking almost US$ 800.00, no way Jose.
Finally found this one, not in good condition but acceptable.

2 more silver screws that came in the same box today... a SG1 and SP1 from the same batch 8400 both in very good condition. My silver screw family is almost complete. I just miss the SD-1 but this one is gonna be a tough one to get. My complete japan family is also near completion. Still 9 more to get (VB2, DM2, DM3, DC2, BF2B, GE7B, DSD3, DD3, PS2).
