Having watched a few of the demo videos on YouTube, it seems to me like it's basically a more advanced version of something like the Zoom MultiStomp pedals (MS-50, MS-70 etc). i.e. a lot of effects in a small(ish) footprint that you can incorporate into your existing pedal board. You can get a whole host of different delays, modulation effects, reverbs, dirt etc without needing to buy, and find room for, dozens of individual pedals. The presets would also make it easier to switch between different sounds without engaging multiple individual pedals.
Whether there's much of a market for such a thing, I have no idea.
New Boss EX-4 Effects Expander
Re: New Boss EX-4 Effects Expander
I’d like to try, if the sounds are well emulated… I’d we have a sound close close to the original pedals… I always felt Boss multiple effects often sound poorly and the last one I liked was the ME-5. Except for distortions / overdrives that I often found excellent (my guitar player have a GT-10, the distortions are amazing).
