Single owner pedals
What's the Boss pedal you've owned the longest as the single owner? The family heirloom Boss pedal, as it were.
For me, it's a 1995 BD-2, purchased after hearing Eric Clapton's From the Cradle album. Suffice to say, it did not make me sound like Clapton, but I did hang on to it all these years, and I still love the BD-2 tone (BD-2w on the board right now, the '95 is tucked away safely)

Re: Single owner pedals
For Boss, it is DD-2. My second pedal ever. All my paper route savings up to that point went to that pedal. That B movie cartoon ad sold me. LOL
I still have it, but I only put in on my home pedalboard when I need to reference it against another delay pedal. Still a favourite.

Re: Single owner pedals
It's the RV-5 that I bought new in 2003. I won't sell it on, because it does a good job in most modes. A great combination at live jams is: synthesizer -> RV-5 -> OD-2R. Massive sound pads guaranteed!
The only other pedals that I bought earlier and still possess today are the Marshall BB-2 and JH-2 that I purchased new in 2001.

Re: Single owner pedals
That has to be the CE-2b I bought new in either '95 or '96, can't remember the exact year.
It's still a lovely sounding pedal for a bass chorus, that reminds me to take it out of the closet again!

My first SYB-3 : october 1996. Still play with it.
Re: Single owner pedals
Well it´s SG-1, found it for around US$ 50 in mint condition, but sadly no box, about 20 years ago.
That was the pedal that started me collecting Boss pedals.

Re: Single owner pedals
The first one was a CE-2 that I bought from new around 1979. I saw it in a shop window and didn’t really know what it did but I really liked the colour
I don’t think I even tried it. I just took it home and plugged my CSL Les Paul into one side and my H & H combo into the other. That one started my lifelong ‘need’ for more Boss pedals !

Re: Single owner pedals
Bought a TU-2 and an MT-2 at the same time in the summer of 93 in Singapore, that was the start of the habit. Prior to that I had a no name pedal bank with about 30 presets, which was my first eye-opener to the world of effects, but it was so cheap it crapped out on me.
I now have many more pedals, but don't tend to sell them on, I prefer to collect them........... nasty habit......
