Hello all. I am trying to control the stop/start function (CTL1) with my Line 6 Helix functioning as the external controller. I have the two devices connected via TRS 1/4 inch cable, using the Stop/Memory Shift input on the RC 5. The Helix has the ability to assign foot switches for external devices and has options such as momentary, latching, ring, tip, etc., so I feel like this should be possible. So, far, though, I am having no luck.
Any ideas if this is possible?
Thanks.

Don't know the Helix very well, but maybe a couple of ideas, ruling out the obvious:
- The RC5 takes TRS, does the Helix need that? In other words, Make sure the connection on the Helix side sends the correct signal to the RC5.
- Are the polarities matching? (Comes down to making sure the signals sent and received are matching).
- Is the cable working in other setups?
- Is it set to momentary? That's what it should be according to the RC5 manual.
- Is it a On/Off Normally closed? That's what RC5 needs I think.
