The BossAreaForum has turned eight years!

For me it feels a bit like living in the famous Gallic village, the smart and witty Forumians bravely fighting against the onslaught of the hoardes of disgruntled Socialmedians and soulless Aicontentians. Or are we simply dinosaurs, having ignored the loud noise of the impact of the meteor called 'future'?

Anyway, thank you all for eight years of contributions!

Been here for 7.5 years!
For as long as I live, forums/boards will always reign supreme. The organized layout is sooooo much better than a seemingly infinite social media page that requires a search every time one needs to access potential information.
Same with AI searches, I don't find they are providing reliable info, plus I like getting info/opinions/experiences from a known person, even if they are an avatar on a forum. I know there is a real person behind the avatar. I have met people behind the avatar and really enjoyed the 'in-person' experience!
