New amp day! Mesa Heartbreaker.

Picked up one of these on the weekend. USD$780.
Needs a recap (it was made in 1996, so 26 year old caps - cap change is a precaution more than a need), pots cleaning and some general maintenance. Sounds HUGE.

Didn't know about the Heartbreaker, so went to watch some videos and read it's description in the manual.

It's seams to be a soldier for many battles, from fender clean to marshall dirty and beyond.

Yeah... I promised I'd stop buying stuff. But when deals this good come along, how to say no? I'm doing some horse-trading of other gear that will make the net cost of this amp less than $500. How could I say no...

Yep. Luckily.... I just tried it out without looking it up.

It is a fairly versatile. There are 6L6 tubes in mine and it does get close to being Fenderish.
