This one has failed - two cracks in the carbon track, and the track is really worn out.

And here is the replacement. With the local price at the time of writing (Canada, March 2025, not including tax), plus the install instructions:

I guess there is no way to repair a carbon track, for example with graphite lacquer applied on the old track?

These pots have such a hard life I usually just change them. I don't think any sort of repair would last very long?

Indeed, wah potentiometers have a really hard life. ;)

Ah yes, pot price!

Quite lucky here in Japan that I can pick up a nice Montreux (branded) pot for around 2700yen versus 4400yen for Dunlop.

Most of the wahs cluttering up the second hand shops are for 2-4000 yen with scratchy pots. I now have far to many repaired wahs :lol:
