Let's see those pedalboards!

New home studio board.

The wah, DD-7 and RC-3 are all on the right physically because I use my right foot to do all the control.

The silver single button pedal is tap tempo for the DD-7. The dual button black pedal is the control pedal for the RC-3.

I run it from a star-connected linear power supply using a 7809 regulator, powered by a 14VDC wall-wart rated at 700mA. Operating voltage is 8.97VDC. All the pedals are connected back to the power supply with individual cables (hence "star" connected). Total power draw is 440mA. Zero noise from the power supply.

It never moves, except onto the bench for a configuration change.

Would be madness for using live. And yet, it came with a wheeled flight case so someone somewhere must use a board this size as "portable"

Last year I finally broke away from only having Boss and Ibanez 9 series pedals. I ended up collecting 1989-1995 USA DOD pedals and eventually got into more boutique pedals.

The first project I did was a board that I called "the history of rock" and it is in chronological order of the original circuit design from 1966-2004. I went with hand-built clones and wanted them to be true bypass minus the buffer pedals I had on there. I have made a couple of tweaks since this picture but it's mostly the same. I did only do two fuzzes since I'm not a huge fuzz fan and a lot of those didn't really have a resurgence until more recently. If anyone wants to know a rundown of what they are, feel free to let me know.

The second project began as an amp-in-a-box board but I ended up changing direction with it a bit due to gain range redundancy and finding it difficult to find ones that I found genuinely enjoyable to play.

Very cool! A good friend of mine in Los Angeles loves the DOD Punkifier. Do you have a clue what the four letters in the cross stand for?

I'm not sure. If I had to make a guess, possibly U.S. Hardcore.

It is I. I was around on all iterations just not necessarily very active. I just found out this forum existed today when I did a search for some production years. It was nice to see a lot of familiar names out there. I have fond memories of the older forums, partly because they were one of the few gear forums that weren't ruined by people being jerks.
