Indeed it is the HF-2. Trying it for a while., Might eventually swap it for the BF-2, but we shall see.

Yep, she lives again. Had to give her pride of place on the board.
Re: Let's see those pedalboards!
Finished up another DOD board last night. I keep flip-flopping on having the chorus last in the chain to run stereo out, but I think a part of me is too used to my chorus being before my delay on my other boards.

Cool! Have you by chance ever tried out an Octoplus from the Performer Series? This one has a special 1.5 Oct Down mode and I'd love to know what interval that is. The KORG KOT-401 "Octave V" has one as well and it is 19 semitones* below the original signal. I always wished that it were 17 semitones** instead.

I have not. I actually have only played 1 performer series ever and that was at a store about 30 years ago and I haven't owned any of them. My guess is that is a 4th or 5th. I only collect the DOD pedals with the 1989-1996 cosmetics, as these are what were abundant when I started and the ones that I had or wanted (although I did own a 1986-1988 era Flanger when I was 16, but the lack of cosmetic matching bugged me even back then).Pepe wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 5:23 pmCool! Re: Let's see those pedalboards!
I used to have a huge board:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10&hilit=tone+suck&start=160#p8098
I then swapped to a smaller board because of the tone-suck in the big board:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10&p=8440&hilit=tone+suck#p8440
The thing is that I like swapping pedals in and out and on a small board it is tiresome.
I have a new solution. A main stereo board, and two bypassable sub-boards. So far it is going well. I'm chasing the last few ground-loops, but conceptually it is working perfectly:

Yes, I’m exactly the same! A little input loop box on the main board is wonderful though ordering can be a snag.laurie wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 3:35 pmI used to have a huge board:

Re: Let's see those pedalboards!
As always, I want to keep it simple, so I dug out a Boss BCB-60 and filled it with Boss pedals - with one small exception that’s a permanent fixture in all my setups
Purely by accident I’ve stumbled across a great combination into that Fender amp. The pedals are, from the guitar: BP-1w Booster/Preamp (‘Nat’ setting) —-> DA-2 Adaptive Distortion —-> JB-2 Angry Driver (‘JHS’ setting’) —->FW-1w Fuzz (‘V’ setting) —->DD-3 Digital Delay (set for short delay to give a doubling/thickening effect) —-> DD-7 Digital Delay (set for a longer delay c. 400ms) and rounded off with a ‘Laurie’ HZD Boost.
The Super Sonic is set to the clean / vintage channel with the ‘Fat’ boost added to taste.
I’m really pleased with this setup and, with some treble rolled off, it also sounds pretty good through the JC-40.
It’s been a productive day
