Music Man Sterling Ray4.
The lighting doesn't do justice to the Mint Green colour.

That's great Laurie.
Not a fan of the colour, but the Sterling's are great instruments for the price.
I love my Ray 5, apparantly the coils on the Sterling's are wired in series rather than parallel,
so it has more midrange presence.

Great bass! They do the Stingray thing for a beer budget!
I will say that if the pickup is in series, wire it parallel to really get in the accurate Stingray tonal wheelhouse. It kinda needs that extra treble zing and less low mids to have that signature tone.

I've had an actual Stingray 4 SLO for about 10 years, so have the "Stingray sound" on tap
The Sterling bass came along cheap, so I grabbed it so that I could leave the (what is now) mega expensive real Stingray in its case. The Ray4 will become my beater bass and replace the old Samick I talked about over here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=703

Nice! That SLO is so cool!
I have a couple US made EBMM SUBS. Got them back when they were a sleeper bargain and often confused with the Sterling SUBS for pricing. These have the 2EQ and parallel Alnico. 100% Stingray tone.
They also have also gone way up in value, but not like yours. Mine have only an mid to upper 3-figure dollar value each, so they are still easily rode hard and put away wet without any cares in the world.
