Well it´s SG-1, found it for around US$ 50 in mint condition, but sadly no box, about 20 years ago.
That was the pedal that started me collecting Boss pedals.

Re: Boss/Fender pedals
I once had the real Fender Reverb, the huge box one, I thought it was a bit overwhelming and way too big to carry around. My impression is that FRV-1 can be dialed to a more subtile effect than the big one. I didn´t have the pedal and the "box" at the same time, so direct comparison was not possible...

Re: Boss/Fender pedals
Does anyone know if Boss approached Marshall and/or Vox about these? I asked Roland/Boss in Sweden when these came out, and my contact there (the legendary Linda) about it. She wrote me that Boss had been in contact with both Marshall and Vox that resulted in a "No". If they could use those tradema...

Re: Boss/Fender pedals
I know, I've seen the FRV-1's listed for $300-400 on Ebay, I wish they would reissue that pedal , those prices are ridiculous. Al I´m pretty sure Fender just allowed Boss to use the Fender logo/name for a limited space of time. Possibly at around the time when some strats was named Roland-ready (so...

The "best buy" pedal ever, non-Boss
As I, and most of you, have bought many pedals over the years, not just Boss compacts, what is the best pedal you ever bought? In my case it´s Zoom MS-50G, I´ve had it for a couple of years and it´s always in my pedal chain, always. It´s a "multi-pedal" like the Boss floor-units, but very compact. B...

Re: Every Boss Pedal You Have!
Impressive, although it fits well with being the 2nd member at Boss Area. The first member was of course Borge, who built the forum. He had the web-site with descriptions of all Boss pedals since a couple of years before, as you know. I had e-mail contact with him during that period and he told me ...

Re: Every Boss Pedal You Have!
I have all of the older ones except PS-3
Totally around 130 units, micro racks included.
Duplicates of some, like DS-1.

DIY Pedals
The last decade or so I have built hundreds of pedals by myself, clones and own constructions. The clones have nearly always been modded to my liking. 80% or so are fuzz pedals, as I like to make a lot of noise..... I put a lot of work in the enclosures, as I´m a creative person, that´s half the ple...
