Re: Old GE-7 needs TLC
Found one on Facebook, based in Birmingham. Had a talk with him and I'll be sending the pedal for a once over.

Re: Old GE-7 needs TLC
Thanks for the replies, people. I'll see if there are any competent repairers nearby - Sheffield isn't far away - before I reach out further.

Old GE-7 needs TLC
My ancient - 40 years old this month - GE-7 needs some love and attention. It sporadically refuses to switch on, either via battery or power supply, and it could do with the noise reduction mod, too. I haven't used it for a long time but I'm thinking about firing it up again if I can get it sorted o...

NPD! RV-6
At last, after waiting due to stock shortages, I managed to track one down. Arrived this morning and now it's happily on the board.

Re: New pedal - Boo Electronics PH-1r

Re: New pedal - Boo Electronics PH-1r
My favourite phaser tone was the old Small Stone but it was incredibly noisy and had a huge volume drop.
This thing gets me in the ballpark, but I wouldn't say it's exact. Anyhow, it's, IMO, much better than the MXR stuff - which as I mentioned, I don't care for - so that's another win.

New pedal - Boo Electronics PH-1r
Arrived today and it's immediately on my board. Been on my radar for a while. I wanted a Boss PH-1r but prices are ridiculous, and it seems there are a number of fakes out there, so I was hunting for a viable alternative. The Boo version uses, according to their site, high quality components with au...
