Re: New Non-BOSS Pedals
The Nobels ODR-1 Natural Overdrive has been one of my favourite drives for a very long time. Of course, I couldn’t resist a gold 30th Anniversary version of it with a bass cut control ! I dug out all of the Nobels collection and I thought you might like to see them all together. Nobels 2023.jpeg Ni...

Re: If you ever wondered what was inside a vintage PSA power supply
Great save!
I did that to my old 1974 Pignose adaptor a couple of years ago. The cord needed replacing too. Never thought to change any capacitors, though!
Btw, nice Canadian Tire clamp set!

Re: SD-1 clipping diodes
Welcome to the forum, man.
My 1981 NEC chip (version A board) has the black stripe clipping diodes.
Here's a lengthy thread that may answer your question.

Re: New Amp Day 1971-72 Fender Pro Reverb
Right on.
I have a 1964 1x15 Pro Amp. It's closer to the blackface Vibroverb, but without the verb. Weighs about 40 to 45 lbs.
Congrats on the Pro Reverb. It's a classic!

Very nice!
That 2x12 will be quite a bit lighter than a Concert, I'd imagine.
Is the cabinet still made of plywood?

Re: Used PH-1r - is it really in original condition?
Put a capacitor in parallel with R26 should take out some of the high-end. Start with 1nF but experiment. Suggestion - sell it onwards as a curiosity and put the money towards a PH-1 (not "R"). Weird, everyone seems to be recommending the PH-1 now. :| A few months ago I asked for opinions on which ...

Re: Sweet find coming in the mail soon
That’s great! :) What was the last year for the through hole component versions? Btw the pedal showed up today and sounds fantastic! The SMD pedals rolled out gradually, with individual models switching over at various times from ~2018 onward. The easiest way to know is the SMD versions are made in...
