Re: New Non-BOSS Pedals
My BOSS FDR-1 is still lost in the mail and the post people are now going on the hunt to find out where it is hiding. Let's see how this ends. In the meantime I have this vintage MXR Distortion + incoming. Declared as defective. But I think that I can cure the problems. MXR_Dist+.jpg Very cool! I d...

Re: What was the date DC-3 became Digital Space D from Digital Dimension?
My Digital Space D is from February 1992. I'm not 100% sure, but it was my understanding that they were produced consecutively? The Digital Space D was for the Japanese market and the Digital Dimension was the export model. I decided that I had to have the Space D, just because of the cooler name. S...

Re: Might get a cool, early BF2!
I landed it! Just gotta wait a month to pick it up-police hold. The velcro is annoying. It's really stuck to the label. Will have to do some delicate surgery when it comes home. An alternative to risking the bottom label would be to keep an eye out for something on the cheap with a “use a coin” bot...

Re: Might get a cool, early BF2!
The BF-2 is one of the few early BOSS pedals that I really like very much. It's pretty legendary! This will be my third I have had. I had a black label/black screw I bought new in 83, which I sold around 1991. Picked up the current 89 green label several years ago. Never had a HF2, though. Want to ...

Re: Might get a cool, early BF2!
Have a lead on a November, 1980 BF2. Silver Screw, 10000 serial number, black label. Works great. Fingers crossed, gonna check it out tomorrow. My current is a green label MIJ from exactly 9 years later, November, 1989. Cool. I have 2 of those with similar SNs. Compared to the Green Label MIJs I ha...

Yeah, it's disappointing that they are just Malaysian SMD BOSS. Granted, they look pretty cool, like they are going to a formal dance, New Year's Eve party, etc...

Re: New Waza-Craft pedal: BP-1W Booster Preamp
Played one the other day. It's really cool! I might just get one, as I can see this being useful with bass guitar, too. What's really nice is the gain and volume knobs. Being able to dial in a little grit/harmonics is especially cool pushing a dirty amp, which is how I tend to use overdrive pedals a...
