Re: XPEWT2 - Christmas Pedal Exchange World Tour 2

Hello, Thanks to Pepe for the email bringing this to my attention. I would like to join the tour as well. It's good to see all the Canadian's able to participate this year! Also, thanks to Pepe for organizing another pedal exchange!

Re: XPEWT1 - Christmas Pedal Exchange World Tour 1

...I've bought one too (I had already owned one in the past and kind of missed it). I just struggle to make it work in live situations and I wonder if my microphone is to blame (Sennheiser e835). We used those mics at a church I used to attend. They sound amazing and don't suffer from proximity eff...

Re: PH-3 feedback?

My model is #155. Mine is 154. I haven't explored the "more" range on the LGP yet, but my initial impression is that there is almost no overlap between them! I don't use the "more" range, I find the normal range to be perfect. There are many more phasers out there that you should check out. Not tha...

Re: PH-3 feedback?

Sclitheroe, You have just begun a long journey into the world of phasers. Here's my thoughts: In my opinion the Phase 90 isn't the greatest. I'm very happy you like it, and luckily I think you can experience even better phase pedals in the future. Although the 3 pedals you mentioned are different be...

Re: XPEWT1 - Christmas Pedal Exchange World Tour 1

Thanks so much for the pedal, Admin! I'm going to keep it. And I will use it at the next open jam session. :D You're welcome! I'm glad it's a keeper. This wouldn't have been possible without Gasgano as well. Thanks Gasgano for the help of being and intermediary! I can't wait to see a demo of this p...

Re: Pepe's demo videos (New: Johnson EAD-2 Analog Delay)

I am thoroughly impressed, as usual . The chords ringing out with the 'trails' on at 1:20 was something I would have never thought of. The Violin sounds at 4:21 was amazing. Was that just a volume knob sweep? Very realistic sounding. I'm very greatful that you sent this pedal to me, and fortunate to...

Re: Single owner pedals

I bought my first pedal, a DS-1, on the 10th of January 1991 and still have it. It cost £40.50 new. Insanely good memory? Was that day special (birthday)? Because that is very specific. My first Boss pedal that I have still is my ODB-3. In winter 2001 it was on sale for $49 NEW and Guitar Center di...

Re: XPEWT1 - Christmas Pedal Exchange World Tour 1

Correct! :D It is the Johnson EAD-2 Analogue Delay pedal. It has been modified and rehoused by Pepe. He added a second switch that allows the trails to continue when it's bypassed. Another modification is the separate effect and clean signal level controls. That is very helpful, and even more so whe...

Re: XPEWT1 - Christmas Pedal Exchange World Tour 1

Going out on a limb... Hotone Fury? No, not the correct brand either. I still have the chassis. I'm quite colour blind when it somes to red, green and blue. My family says that the pedal is rather purple than indigo. Thanks, I'll change the clue. It was hard to tell from online images. Clue 1) My a...

Re: XPEWT1 - Christmas Pedal Exchange World Tour 1

Thank you Laurie and Bearboy!

As Laurie pointed out, his guess is incorrect. (although I do want to buy those Danoelectro pedals, I've heard good things)

Clue 1) My apology is a clue
Clue 2) Know as a beginner/budget brand
Clue 3) It had four knobs
Clue 4) Indigo
Clue 5) Awkward knob placement.
