Re: Why can't I get Jacks for my Boss Pedals?
Can't answer why they're hard to find from third parties but you can get hold of spares from Roland themselves. They usually post a contact number on their website.

Re: Yamaha Guitars
Crikey! That's one superb collection. Over the years I've tried - and tried to love - many Yamaha guitars. Sadly, for some reason or another, I just can't get on with them. There are quite a few that I'd really be happy to own but every time I played one, I really didn't enjoy the experience. Maybe ...

Re: Boss Wishlist
Expanding on my post above, the one box I'd love to see revived in Waza form is the good old BF-2. I have an ancient one - it's so old the manual's in Latin - but I'd love to replace it with a shiny new box. An extra socket for connecting an optional expression pedal to control the LFO, plus optiona...

Re: GT-5, anyone?
I couldn't ever justify buying the GT-1000, nice though it is. I get my amp tones from my amp, so the most I'd need is a set of effects units. The GT-5 kept its place in my rig because of the useful effects but since it's getting long in the tooth, it's time to retire the thing. The nearest I'd get ...

Re: The unofficial GT-3/GT-5 manual
Thank you so much! Whether the files are the same as the one I'm after or not, I'm certain they'll be a useful set of resources.

Re: GT-5, anyone?
I still gig with mine. My one and only problem is the Parameter wheel is a bit flakey and sometimes takes a bit of patience and a lot of swearing at it before it gets where it should be. Fortunately, I never use that live. I have a couple of banks set aside for live work, which I almost always use i...

Re: The unofficial GT-3/GT-5 manual
Thanks but not that one. I have that anyhow. This is - as I said - an unofficial one. Made by GT-3/GT-5 users, and goes more in depth than the Boss one, and is better written, IMO.

Re: Boss Wishlist
Quite honestly, I wish Boss would start a prolonged campaign of making analog pedals again. Even if the original chips aren't available, Roland has the financial clout to remanufacture out of production gear, even to the extent of reverse engineering if necessary. While we're at it, why not step up ...

Just thought I'd share this strange news item, it says he was caught before any money was actually taken. https://img-s-msn-com.akamaized.net/tenant/amp/entityid/BBQTZJk.img?h=400&w=326&m=6&q=60&o=f&l=f © Provided by Associated Newspapers Limited A fraudster built this bizarre contraption to help h...
