I snatched up a PH-3 local for $30 it looks pretty rough but its fully functional so for $30 I'll take it! The expression jack is lovely, to my ears its capable of rotary simulator effects

I would start by spraying the time knob with deoxit! It is possible to spray into the shaft of the pot without opening the pedal but to get a good spray you do need to disassemble it and get in the opening of the potentiometer.

I know what they did, its a setting called "active range hi" and "active range lo" these settings are crucial to using the expression pedal for switching your most used effects.
