Re: IR-2 or IR-200??
Same, went with the compact so it fits in BCB situations. https://uniim1.shutterfly.com/render/00-0bRNyLnJL0pZOju37gIGvAJPjGm5zan3rARPapS3bn1GIxi992aHar6_2ONSkdfPV7ntXQOewWgszVPDOQPWWw?cn=THISLIFE&res=medium&ts=1716704192&ts=1716704193 https://uniim1.shutterfly.com/render/00-0bRNyLnJL0pZOju37gIGvAJP...

I like a lot of the features of this era amp, the series or parallel extension speaker jacks, the tube testing and bias access, the parallel channel input jacks...

WOW!
For sure not a commercially viable repair, but cool that the amp lives on for a few more decades!

Re: New BOSS pedals!
Picked up a few 80s pieces for a really good deal: -a cool trio of pedals, 86 CS2 and PSM5 and a 85 NF1. All are super clean, they were kept in the BCB6 all these years, never gigged. I'm thinking of doing the SG1 mod to the NF1, been wanting a CS2, and can always use another PSM5. -an 86 BCB6 with ...

Re: Bossarea Forum Archive
How very cool and a consuming, laborious task!
Thank you for doing this. I wasn't a member of Bossarea, but did lurk the site quite a few times when going down rabbit holes.
Visiting the archive brought back many memories.

Re: EHX Big Muff 2
The amount of Muff circuits out there is quite overwhelming! I'm sure y'all are familiar with this site https://www.bigmuffpage.com . I have a V2, V4 and V6. These three span a pretty good sweep of the Muff thing. A BM2 would be different from mine, but I'm not sure I'll get one unless it crosses my...

Re: New (broken) pedal day!
Got the parts. Swapped out the power jack first, as I noticed some improvement in operation when I applied force with the power adapter at some angles in the original jack. This part swap alone got the pedal working, for the most part, but some of the modes don't work (like Reverse and Lo Fi). The s...

Re: New (broken) pedal day!
I moved your postings into this thread. Could you perhaps supply pictures of the circuit board, bigtone23? With some luck it's just a burnt diode. I'll get a shot of the board when I have it opened up next to try round one of repair. The DC power jack arrives tomorrow, the switch some time this week.
