Thanks Laurie. I’ve been working on mixing some tracks recently and this will come in very handy.

Re: Let's see those pedalboards!

Got a little project coming up and here’s the rig for it. Quick photo before it gets packed up for transport. The amp is a special edition Fender Blues Junior loaded with a Jensen speaker and modified to tame the reverb a bit. image0.jpeg How will you use the new BOSS Preamp? I'm still on the fence...

Re: Fender red knob "The Twin" amp - thoughts?

What an epic repair ! Meticulous work as always Laurie. I think one of the ‘house amps’ in the studio where I’m going tonight is one of these and I’ll see if I can track it down and plug into it. They do regularly test their amps so it should be safe :?

Re: Let's see those pedalboards!

Thanks Laurie. The brown pedal is an early Mad Professor Simble Overdrive. It emulates a Dumble amp. Very good pedal. I’m using a Tele for this project and I use that pedal just to add some fatness to everything when I need it.

Re: advice fixing exp/wah pedal on GT-5

Welcome Onyaw and I’m really pleased that the problem is fixed. I’m also a GT-5 user.

Chromandre - going back to the jog wheel - is it possible to remove the knob to spray detox it into it without taking the whole chassis apart? I don’t want to try and force it off and break it. Thanks.

Re: New Boss Pedal - Plugout FX PX-1

I agree, that's great information! 8-) Your TW-1 might suffer from old electrolytic capacitors. The Ibanez UE 300 B that I recapped for a Belgian lately and also one of my Dist Wah modules for the KORG PME pedalboard had the same issue. Almost no sensitivity, even in maxed position and with the tri...

Re: New Boss Pedal - Plugout FX PX-1

Boss PX-1 Comparison Testing To compare the sound of the original pedals to the new PX-1 digital versions. A few things before I get into it: - the sound of the original pedals will vary depending on their age/condition/amount of of use/abuse, etc. For example, the OD-1 I’ve used might not sound li...
