Neither quick, nor dirty. First working draft. Needs to be cleaned up and checked, but essentially done.

Shame this can only ever be used once :?

Yeah...

I'm being a bit "quick and dirty" with the layout. It doesn't need to be pretty, it just needs to work, and there will never be a need for more than one of these.

Fixed. Tested. Shipping back.

The reverse protection diode was also burned out. Needed some track repair. All done.

I have a small very controllable heat-gun that I use for heat-shrink tubing. Careful heat often works - if the metals are dissimilar enough the heat causes expansion at different rates and that releases the binding.

The DFX94 is on vacation here in Canada. The pot shaft was completely seized in the bushing. I’m not sure whether it was old grease, or the metals bonding, but clearly the knob had been left in that position for years. Would Not Move. Applied some careful heat and that allowed it to start moving. A ...

Now I have a big decision...

Do I make a Deluxe Electric Mistress (have a PCB made) and keep the SAD chip, or do I sell the SAD as known good?

It does sound awesome...
