Re: New (broken) pedal day!

I don't know if Roland in Europe is still as helpful as it was over ten years ago when I used to purchase replacement parts there. I think I (or the next owner) can live with the mode switch the way it is.

Re: New (broken) pedal day!

I received another BOSS FZ-2 a while ago. It arrived in a very crazy condition. For an unknown reason it was rehoused in a baby blue chassis of a BOSS CH-1. The Level potentiometer was replaced with a wrong type. One knob was missing, one was from another BOSS pedal. The original FZ-2 serial number ...

Re: New bass day - a Vantage 5-string

I used to work in a music shop for 18 years. There's a reason why cheap bass strings are cheap. They sound dull after a few days and they can break very easily. Re: How to fake a "G taper" potentiometer

Ah, that's the reason why the gain knob shows that special behaviour? Why didn't they just use a linear potentiometer?

Re: Interest in a HM-2 "tribute"?

I wanted a stereo LGP when you still were at DingoTone. I would still like that idea.

Re: Interest in a HM-2 "tribute"?

As for the phaser... yes, I've been toying with another one. The old DingoTone LGP is a good phaser, but the phasing oscillator is a simple triangle wave generator. I'd like to do a design with something more sophisticated, and less prone to noise. I'd probably also make it stereo, using some of th...
